THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF CYPRUS VISITS THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY SEPULCHRE

On Monday afternoon, 13/26 July 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and his entourage visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre while on a national mission in Israel.

The Minister was received by His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos and Hagiotaphite Fathers, His Eminence Geronda Sacristan Archbishop Isidoros of Hierapolis and the Fathers with him, His Eminence Geronda Secretary-General Archbishop Aristarchos of Constantina and Archdeacon Mark. The Minister was guided to the veneration of the All-holy Tomb and the Horrendous Golgotha and also venerated the Precious Wood at the office of Geronda Sacristan. His Beatitude offered the Minister icons of the Holy Sepulchre and the Theotokos of Jerusalem, along with the book “I am Jerusalem” by memorable Dentist John Tleel and wished him success in his mission.
