VIOLATION OF THE PENTECOST CHAPEL AT THE HOLY ZION

At an indefinite time during last week, 9th/14th to 22nd /27th July 2018, unknown people, most probably belonging to the radical religious group from the district of Prophet David’s Tomb, violated the Pentecost Chapel three times. The Chapel belongs to the Patriarchate’s jurisdiction and is located by the Patriarchal School on the hill of Holy Zion.

The Jerusalem Patriarchate protested strongly to the Israeli Police for this violation which is one of many, and asked the finding of the offenders and the imposing of the appropriate penalties in accordance to the Israeli law for this illegal action, emphasizing especially the need for the peaceful religious co-existence in the Holy Land.
