HIS BEATITUDE AWARDS THE MAYOR OF TOWN BIRZEIT

On Saturday April 15/28, 2018, His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos awarded Mayor Dr. Jawhar Y. Sayej of town Birzeit near Ramallah, the honorary distinction of the Cross Bearer of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulchre.

Mr. Sayej was escorted by the Hegoumen of the Greek-Orthodox Community of this town, Archimandrite Andrew Aleme and a group of forty members of the Community. His distinction was a token of his ministry to the Patriarchate, his Community and town.

Emotional, Mr. Jawhar Y. Sayej thanked His Beatitude for this honour and promised to continue his ministry for the benefit of the Church to which he is honoured to belong.
