THE SACRAMENT OF THE HOLY UNCTION

On Holy and Great Wednesday evening, March 22/ April 4, 2018, the Sacrament of the Holy Unction was held at the Holy Monastic Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, to strengthen the faithful in the face of the Holy Week and Easter. The Service was led by His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos with co-celebrant Hagiotaphite High Priests.

Before dismissal and as the Choir leader of the Holy Church Archimandrite Eusevios was chanting psalm 137, His Beatitude, the Bishops, the Archimandrites, the monks, the nuns and the pilgrims were being anointed, asking from each other forgiveness and wishing Happy Easter.
