On Sunday 26th December 2016 / 8th January 2017, one day after Christmas, the feast of the Synaxis of our Most Holy Theotokos was celebrated.
This feast is celebrated as Synaxis (Gathering) of our faithful in order to pay a special tribute to Theotokos for her immense contribution which surpassed any other human being or even angel, to bear Christ incarnate through the Holy Spirit for our salvation.
