HOLY UNCTION AT THE PATRIARCHATE
On the evening of Tuesday the 3rd of December/5th of January 2016, the Sacrament of the Holy Unction was administered as a constituent element of our preparation for participation in the celebration of Christmas.
The Holy Unction was led by H.B. Theophilos, Patriarch of Jerusalem, with six co-officiating Primates.
On the conclusion of the Sacrament, participating monks, pilgrims and the faithful stood in line to be anointed by His Beatitude and concelebrant Primates.
