ANNUAL MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR HAGIOTAPHITE FATHERS

On Sunday the 21^st of December/3^rd of January 2016, the Sunday before the Nativity, a memorial service was held for the departed Hagiotaphite Brothers, ever-memorable Patriarchs, Primates, Hieromonks, Hierodeacons, monks and nuns, at the katholikon of the All-holy Church of the Resurrection. The service was performed after the divine Liturgy that was led by His Eminence Theodosios, Archbishop of Sebaste.

Leading the memorial service was His Beatitude Theophilos, Patriarch of Jerusalem, with co-officiating Hagiotaphite Primates, Hieromonks and Hierodeacons and a congregation of members of the Church of Jerusalem and pilgrims.

After the Memorial Service, congregants proceeded to the Patriarchate, where His Beatitude wished for the repose of long departed Hagiotaphite Fathers, now in the land of the living, with the righteous and the holy.
