THE FEAST OF ST SAVVA THE SANCTIFIED AT THE MONASTERY OF THE ARCHANGELS, JERUSALEM

On Thursday, the 4^th/17^th of December 2015, the memory of St Savva the Sanctified was observed at the chapel dedicated to his name within the Monastery of the Archangels, at a short distance to the north of the Patriarchate.

Archimandrites Claudius, hegoumen at the Monastery of the Holy Cross, and Paisios, hegoumen at the Monastery of the Prophet Elias, and father Nikiforos officiated at Vespers and the divine Liturgy. Nuns sang as a congregation of monks and nuns attended the service on the invitation and hospitality of His Eminence Demetrios, Archbishop of Lydda, Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod.
