MR SAEED AL-NAJAR VISITS THE PATRIARCHATE
On Tuesday, the 2nd/15th of September 2015, Mr Saeed Najar, judge in the Bethlehem region, visited the Patriarchate. He was accompanied by f. Issa Mousleh, the Patriarchate’s representative to Arabic-speaking Mass Media, Palestinian officials and Mr Tanas (Athanasios) Abu-Aeta, a Rum Orthodox friend of the Patriarchate.
The distinguished guests were welcomed by H.B. Theophilos, Patriarch of Jerusalem, in the presence of Hagiotaphite Fathers. At the meeting, the Patriarch expressed satisfaction over the current harmonious collaboration between the Patriarchate and the Palestinian Autonomy, as well as for the peaceful coexistence of Christians and Muslims in the Middle East to the benefit of both sides.
Once gifts were exchanged, both Christians and Muslims accepted His Beatitude’s wishes and went on to visit and venerate the Holy Sepulcher.
