THE PALESTINIAN AMBASSADOR TO CANADA VISITS THE PATRIARCHATE
On Monday, the 1st/14th of September 2015, the feast-day of the new ecclesiastical year or the Indiction, the future Representative of the Palestinian State to Canada, Mr Nabil Marouf, visited the Patriarchate with his esteemed wife.
Mr Marouf was warmly welcomed by Patriarch Theophilos in the presence of Hagiotaphite Fathers. At the meeting, Mr Marouf referred to his new assignment, where he is called upon to defend the rights of Palestinian refugees residing in Canada.
His Beatitude congratulated the new Ambassador for his new post, pointing out that the Patriarchate serves as the connecting link for Palestinians residing in their homeland and away.
