THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY UNCTION AT THE PATRIARCHATE

On the afternoon of Holy Wednesday, the 26^th of March/8^th of April 2015, the sacrament of the holy Unction was conducted at the Monastic Church of Sts Constantine and Helen. The Unction was offered as necessary preparation of Christians for their participation in the Holy Easter and Communion.

The ceremony was led by H.B. Theophilos, Patriarch of Jerusalem, with co-officiating Primates and Hieromonks and concelebrant monks, nuns and a great crowd of Christian Orthodox faithful.
