THE FEAST OF ST. PORPHYRIOS OF GAZA IN GAZA
On Cheese Fare Sunday morning, February 25/March 10, 2019, the Feast of St. Porphyrios of Gaza was celebrated by transference in festivities in Gaza, led by the local Patriarchal Representative Most Reverend Archbishop Alexios of Tiberias, with the participation of a large crowd of faithful Christians, who honoured the Saint who denounced paganism in the 4th century A.D., and established Christianity in the city of Gaza.
