H.H.B. THE PATRIARCH OF JERUSALEM OFFERS HIS CONDOLENCES FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE PITTSBURGH SYNAGOGUE

The Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III offers his deepest condolences to

those individuals and families who are mourning the loss of loved ones as a

result of the hateful targeting of innocent people engaged in prayer and

celebration at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh on Saturday October

27th.

Such an act of terrorism is an attack on the whole of our civilization and values,

which The Patriarchate of Jerusalem resolutely condemns.

We join our prayers with millions around the world and ask that God would

bring comfort to victims and peace to our communities; with the only

consolation being that such heinous crimes of bigotry will only strengthen our

solidarity and resolve to protect fundamental liberties and freedom of worship.
